May I ask all of you this question.

When the next GE due for voting, will you vote PAP again?
or opposition party?

Many argued that opposition must have credibility to be voted but why must only "very" credibility one will be voted in times when we are desperate to remove PAP?

What is your PRIMARY OBJECTIVE for the vote?

Arent we suppose to vote out all PAP party to give our Singapore and its future a change?

Before you ask me who I will vote, ANY OPPOSITION candidates regardless their credibility even ah beng also I will vote, so long they have genuine interest to protect singaporeans and our future generation.

My primary objective is to remove PAP.

If you keeps arguing which oppostion party should be voted, then mark my word, PAP will continue to reign their power every General Elections.

This is why singaporean love to FUCK singaporean even at the stage when we are desperate PAP to be remove.

If you people really have the genuine interest to see the changes without PAP existence, you need to put a STOP debating about opposition choices.

If this continue, I bet my last dollar, PAP will continue to empower every singapore corners.

I will pack up in 2011 if PAP still remain the "people" choice.

fuck. gotta start all over again? just scroll up, read the messages lah.

bro, massive u-turn! What happenned?

what u turn u talking about? here's how would i vote.

http://www.sammyboy.com/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=178974

the choice is clear. for a anti-pap like me.

to me, i loath the PAP. so i will not vote for them.

now, if there are candidates running against the PAP in the area i reside, i will have to observe these candidates. who are they? what do they represent? what are their ideologies? do i find them agreeable?

if those candidates running against the PAP, they themselves sound just like the PAP, why should i as a anti-pap, vote for them??

whats the u-turn?

Who is talking about voting for PAP? We are talking about you allowing PAP to retain their seats by not voting opposition. All we are saying is that you are helping the PAP by not voting any of their enemies or rivals into parliament. So don't grumble when the seats remain in PAP hands.

Gosh, after so many posts, you are still blur.

Gosh, after so many posts, you are still blur.

When I said that Chee forced the PAP to use the government machinery on him (by breaking laws he deemed unjust), he took what I said to mean that Chee had control over the government. That really made my hair stand as I wonder who or what is behind that keyboard.

PAP apologist and wannabes in the Opposition camp, they are not the enemies or rivals of the PAP. they are comrades. friends. brothers of the PAP.

My message to those who is debating about voting for which opposition should gain favourite votes.

As I read up all the postings, it seems that minds are divided about voting interest.

That is why I post my message for those who can understand what I am trying to emphasis.

By the way, those who are close-rank with PAP should not be given a vote unless option exhausted because either way, it is still in the PAP shadow.

It means Singaporean are destined to be doomed.

Use your common sense. Why would residents of Hougang and Potong Pasir repeatedly vote for your so called PAP "apologist" when they can vote for PAP and get all the goodies that the PAP have been bribing them with for years.

Are the people in Potong Pasir, Hougang, Anson, Bt Gombak etc that stupid and you are the wise one.

Bro, your logic is beyond repair.

What is wrong with Low, Chiam, WP, NSP etc

Let this be a debate on the POVs, not the ability to comprehend.

who has a comprehension problem?

http://www.sammyboy.com/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=179311

The key word is "country's machinery". You want to make a comparison to see who activates a "country's machinery" more, look at the causes, not the tags of opposition or terrorist. If you don't know that Chee's strategy is to mobilise the "country's machinery" to prove his points, then I don't know where you have been all the while.

There are opposition like DPP and SNF which the PAP hasn't even touched before, unlike Chiam and Low.

who could mobilize country's machinery except the PAP???

http://www.sammyboy.com/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=179318

Did I say the country machinery is under Chee control??? Goodness.

again, who could mobilize the country's machinery??? no one else except for the PAP govt.

i loathed the PAP. so why would i want them to control the parliament?

but to vote for PAP apologist into the parliament, it doesn't benefit the Opposition supporters, except for those who has fetish for the view of a PAP apologist cross dressed as a Opposition MP.

Alright, let me add words to the sentence: "Chee's strategy is to FORCE PAP TO mobilise the "country's machinery" AGAINST HIM to prove his points."

Actually I thought the original statement would have been understood as the amended one. Nobody in the right mind would think SDP is the government now and can mobilise the police. I don't live in an alternate reality.

But I guess brief writing is not tolerated and I need to come up with good compositions just for puny forum discussions.

Dear Scroobal and Perspective

I am afraid Chap represents the "ideological purist" amongst the opposition camps. From his words I see a consistent recurring theme being pushed over and over again as reflected in the recently concluded SDP forum where the like minded preach to the like minded and where ten's of new faces is celebrated as a victory. Where engagement is rhetoric subsituted for thoughtful analysis. Then again with the internet being their new vehicle should you be surprised at the use of clones and nics to manufacture opinion so as to influence off line views ? Moderation and critical thought has its place, and thus chap's view point has to debated and discussed

Chap's argument is circular in many respects not just 360 degrees but more akin to 3600 degrees, he goes round and round so often that he should faint from all that effort.

The current opposition is not opposition enough, the current opposition errrr passes the pap and errr would vote for the PAp. the currrent opposition should be voted out of Parliament because they have failed the people who voted for them. Singaporeans are sheep. voters are sheep, the current opposition says the PAP has a passing grade,( forgetting the other half of the statement, forgetting the PAP gives themselves a first class, forgetting that there might be enough people who would not fail the PAP outright ) , Vote PAP agreed..YSL was an idiot but then will not be the first oppo figure to make a mistake of some form. When will I ever see a NON PAP Gov in my lifetime ? It is only under conditions of perfect democracy that the PAP can be pressured and overthrown.

The SDP draws its strength and its hope from the internet. Perhaps its effect is more real offline then I can recall but its supporters seem hell bent in my view on dominating the Anti PAP space on line by shoving everyone else aside and painting them as not opposition enough

How opposition is opposition enough ? If moderation has won and has kept seats then sad to say moderation is what works whether chap likes it or not. If fervent ideologues win seats then well we would have a different opposition mix.

I will have my disagreements on what is the best method to oppose, but I will always
vote opposition no matter who. Those fervent passionates on the other side I believe will never do the same

I find this all very funny. We all know from the last GE, 66.6% voted PAP and 33.4% voted Opp. Why are Opp supporters fighting among themselves for that 33.4%, however distributed among all Opp parties still guarantees a sure lose. Shouldn't Opp supporters be going after that 66.6%?
