I have to agree with TFBH. It is what you want to suppress and to promote. If doing it is not going to help with your ultimate goal and might even derail it, why give it a month or even a day. Yes, the forum needs revamping. But it is reputation system that needs revamping not the entire objective and tenet of this forum. I think Sam original objectives do support that freedom of expression that forummers love in Sammyboy coffee shop.

My idea is to reduce the 1000 pts to something more realistic, say, 11 to 13 pts for very senior members, mods, chief mod like Sam. Recruits get zero to 1 point while Privates gets one to 2 points. And so on.
