Nope, I ain't buying yet. I still think there are still some world financial issues which needs to be rectified. What we are seeing, hearing now is just the start. The past year were just the signs showing. A lot of financial institutions are in big problems as they are all "collaborating investing". You invest in me, I invest in you. Domino effect is a high possibility.
The banks are in big trouble. All we seen are those in US, UK, Iceland, more to come in the whole world. China is like another US from the way you see they handle the cover-ups. They cover up here cover up there until cannot cover. Now is US. If China reaches a point where they have to reveal, the whole world will be in bigger shit.
The best thing to do now is to keep cold hard cash. Not investing in gold, silver, commodities, stock. When you see the whole world in pessimistic state and no one is buying anything, that is the time to buy.
So many choices now I dunno what to chose anymore.... so I just follow what Li Ka Shing does........ he has been picking up more than 500 million worth of stocks quietly these past few days....... luckily I know his broker so I just tongpang a little bit on those same stocks

About self esteem, mine's not based on the valuation of men so not a problem. Plus i'm not a head turner and have never wished to be. It's enough that I look average and not puke inducing.

Bro, I am not sure what I say goes well with people here.
But honestly, eg, the stock profile I have invested is 200K, now is probably worth 50K at most. 75% gone.
If I use it to go casino with 200K, I can churn back 40K, and wouldn't lose 150K on paper.
Even if it goes back to same price at what I bought in 10 years time, its considered loss of income for me.
But the problem is that for most people who don't know how to play casino games well, a gambling loss is an imediate expense. Whereas an investment paper loss may be recouped in future years.
