I rather pay 1500 for a coffee machine than buy a stupid LV for a pussy.
A smart man will buy a valuable branded piece that will appreciate. LV is for aspiring wannabes.

If u wanna play in the big league, only Hermes or Chanel. Get a nice bag (after spending lots of money on assorted garbage). These tend to appreciate.

As for coffee machines, most are overrated.

uncle sexty 9, your coffee has no layer of foam at the top. this is americano type, not the european style coffee.
have. with french press, can have foam on top after stirring. foam is from air mixing with the coffee in rapid whipping action. can also have foam with turkish drip.

Darling, if you can afford it, why not? But why Philips?
There're professional coffee machine makers like De'longhi & Jura at your budget.

Capsule is very expensive. Each capsule has around 7g to 10g of powder and capsule price is at least 69cent.
Assuming 10g per capsule, 10 capsules are priced at 7 dollars.
10 tubes / 100g of coffee are priced at 70 dollars.
100 tubes / 1000g / 1 kg beans are priced at 700 dollars.
That means 1 kg of capsule is 700 dollars!

You can buy top grade of coffee bean at 70 dollars only!!!!

I agree, 1kg of coffee bean $70 can make approximately 140 single shots espresso, that's $0.50 for top grade.
There are decent commercial brands in the range of $30 to $40 for 1kg, that'd be like $0.20 to $0.28 per shot.

Water itself also plays a big part in how your coffee turns out....
Vietnamese style dripping coffee I would stay is also very good with condensed milk for those who likes strong robust coffee...

Delonghi is better than Philips. It's quite likely Philips bought the license from one of those many OEM models in China, and simply put their logo on the machine.

The best non-commercial fully automatic is Jura, Swiss made. The best commercial fully automatic is WMF, German made..
WMF machine is huge.

@GUDANGARAM Did you buy any of the above machines eventually ?

Apparently, Philips has bought over Saeco, so the machine which you wanted to buy is in fact a Saeco. Saeco is reliable very reliable brand for manufacturing super automatic espresso machines.

The 4300 Philips model has the ability to whip up 8 different flavors:
  1. Espresso
  2. Coffee
  3. Americano
  4. Cappuccino
  5. Latte Macchiato
  6. Café au Lait
  7. Caffé crema
  8. Ristretto
Which explains its slightly higher price. If you are not so sophisticated, you can opt for the 3200 model, which has only the first 5 flavors. If it's for home use, 5 flavors will be more than enough. If it's for office use, the more the better.

The star of this Philip series is the LatteGo Autofrother. It doesn't come with the traditional wand and nozzle, and it's super easy to maintain.
