My mom used to cook chicken rice this way
First chop the chicken into small pieces
and dump them all to cook in the rice cooker
together with the rice, very nice.
The rice also taste good.
I missed my mom's chicken rice.

You are really a pig. I feel very sad because of this.

We already had Chicken Rice War, the movie.

Now the results of the 4 best chicken rice stalls/franchises/whatever are out.

Singapore now has the 4 Heavenly Kings of Chicken Rice.

Just to enlighten bros who do not know the results yet, they are namely (in no particular order)
1) Five Star
2) Loy Kee
3) Boon Tong Kee
4) Chatterbox (Meritus Mandarin Hotel)

Now I personally have some disagreement with the "Heavenly Kings".

So, I would like to start a CHICKEN RICE BATTLE here in SBF!!!

NOMINATE YOUR CHOICE HERE!
And if it's not too much trouble, maybe bros here could provide a reason as to why you agree/disagree with the list.

Let me start the chicken rice ball rolling!

i like chatter box, because it has good view from the top.
the meal is high in calories and chicken taste good.
the place is very clean, air con and smell neutral.
i can eat with tourist and foreigner instead of sinkies in hawker centre.
You must be very rich.

What about Big Chicken at Balmoral Plaza, Bukit Timah?
Very nice garlic (chicken) rice and also the chilli.
But not cheap.

I think you meant Big Bird. They used to be at Peace Centre at Selegie Rd. Tender chicken, fragrant rice with ginger, great variety of soup and spunky chilli.

The chef from Chatterbox left some years ago and used the S$25K he received as retrenchment to start his own chicken rice a la Mandarin. He is now at Downtown East nearby the Aranda Club. It is a fraction of the Chatterbox price and you don't have to pay the front office director's salary!

Bird Bird now has 2 outlets, in Balmoral and at Pomo (also known as Paradize Centre).
Great chilli, great rice, ordinary chicken, pretty expensive though.
