Very unlikely. Both parties have very different ideologies. One caters to the average Mandarin-speaker and the other towards the English-speaking middle class.

NSP-SPP is the way to go. As for RP, KJ is well-known to be arrogant and I doubt he will accept any merger which reduces him to a follower. SDP is too different from the others to merge.

With respect to Chiam, I believe the SPP should move away from being too reliant on him. Let Chiam win back PP and let the other SPP candidates carve out their own reputation. Chiam should take a back-seat in PP.

WP is on its way to become the same status as the DPP in Taiwan. Now all they need is more candidates and more $$$ to push for a huge offensive in 2016. Their next targets for 2016 will be East Coast, Nee Soon and Joo Chiat. Doubt they will touch Pasir Ris or Tampines till they get enough...

We don't need that many political parties. What we need is three STRONG opposition parties. WP can stand on its own, SPP and NSP have to merge to become strong and SDP. I suggest you join WP, SPP or NSP for experience. SDP might be too 'English' for you.
