may i ask how do you identify between a k or f model?

Was your 750 a K model or F model? Either one, if you have kept it, it would be worth a lot these days (especially in US, UK).

Most of us then had to avoid the ROV, my friend had an RD350 - completely stock and was fined for smokey exhaust! WTF! He explained to the cops that it was two-stroke, burned engine oil, and naturally had blue smoke. But they just targeted him for the model.

Cheers!

Why 400cc? Licence 400cc below. If have full class 2 buy bigger cc eg. 600cc price not much different with S4.
Extra $2k can get extra 200cc more worth it.
There are few type of bike. What type u like eg. sport, naked, touring, dirt, chopper.

Well, can anyone who has ridden a 600 cc bike tell me what is the fuel consumption like ? I don't want to get something that consumes as much petrol as a car.

The K models had four separate pipes. The F models came with factory four into one pipes. The F models' design was also more slender to give it a more sporty look and the second generation (F2) came with factory fitted Comstar magwheels. Enginewise, they were the same (SOHC), but I do not know if there were any gear ratio differences. At that time, there were both very advanced.

Haha - then, electric start was considered hi-tech.

Cheers!

The Kawasaki N250R is 150K baht whilst CBR 250R is 100K baht.

Looks like CBR is the better choice, and I have read reviews that the CBR has low torque.

400cc and 600cc fuel consumption will not be much different. For big bike 400cc to 1000cc fuel consumption is in range of 20~30km/litre depend on riding style and bike .
Car 1500~2000cc fuel consumption is in range of 8~15km/litre.

Bikers, if you're riding racing bikes, where to you store your helmet ?

You have very funny question. Store helmet is a problem.
Sportbike/dirtbike cannot put box, it will be ugly> people will laugh. >>Lock it to the bike or leave it there or bring it together.
Scooter type have storage compartment.
Touring bike can install box look nice so can store inside box.

Funny because after more than 10 years never touch motorcycles, I'm not sure if design has improved to allow compartment for helmet, which is a necessity. Lock helmet in open space, raining habez !

Index and anti-Mata helmet can just leave it on the mirrors. Shoei and Arai helmets, take it along wherever you go.

It's very practical, I must say. Even my condo manager, who rides PCX to work, strongly recommends me to get PCX. Unfortunately, scooter is not the kind of image I would like to project.

Do the helmets these days have a special hole that can be locked to the bike ? Please don't tell me to use the buckle on the chin strap.

All bikes come with a helmet lock.

During my time, nobody uses them. Folks just cut the chin strap and take the helmet (especially if Shoei or Bell - then no Arai) - couple of bucks can replace the strap. However these days, I notice riders just leave the helmet on the bike's seat. I wouldn't though - mebbe because if I were a younger man, I would steal stuff.

Cheers!

I know bikes got helmet lock. I'm more concerned if there is a special hole in the helmet for the bike to lock on.
