How many of you have actually been to pray at Erawan Four-Faced Buddha and got your prayer answered ?

I had a friend who joined a parallel car importer, and for a good two months he sold nothing. His boss was pretty patient him, but he felt bad collecting his basic pay without sales. He was supposed to meet a quota of 5 cars per month, and on the end of the second week of the month he decided to fly to BKK to pray at Erawan. On his return the next day, he sold two cars, and the following week he sold three, and chalked up a total of 5 nicely on the last day of the month.

Was there in BKK a decade ago to made a couple of wishes. It worked. I gathered that it got more to do with 'positive' psychology at work.

Went back to give my offerings anyway, just in case.

This is actually similar to the ppl that worship at chc and give their testimonies. Therefore is there a supernatural power at work or is it simply just a coincidence?

Aren't buddhists supposed to be agnostic/atheist? Since when did buddha become a god? More spiritual nonsense from the deluded religious charlatans.

It's called confirmation bias. A bit like how those who struck 4D like to boast about their foolproof methods to riches, only to lose all their undeserving wealth within 5 years.

what's his 'pay back' ?

He made a promise to return to Erawan to give thanks, which he did some 2 months later.

I had another friend who was divorced and used to live with his siblings until he was chased out. He was almost 40 and wanted to marry again. He was very down and after his trip to Erawan he returned to Singapore and a friend introduced a Malaysian girl to her.

The Malaysian girl was 31 at that point of time, and it turned she was still a virgin.

Comrades, the thing about Buddism is Karma. Do what is right and do it for the right reasons and things will be fine for you. If you use it to enchance material benefits to enjoy life, dissapointment is highly likely. Peace and good will to all.
