i drove all over in italy in an alfa romeo for over a year also boh tai ji. only ticket i got was making a right turn at a red light in a small town. and majority of italians were good drivers, counter to fake news and impressions on social media. no italian would hog an overtaking lane on the autostrade nor go too fast on windy mountain roads, tunnels and bridges.

A Malaysian who freqent drive that road said. That stretch is not flat road like Singapore. Got alot of up and down hill. Singaporean not familiar if drive fast, confirm the car fly and lose control. No wonder last year also got sport car crash same that area too...

When I changed lane in a rounded path at high speed, the centripetal force will sway my car outward, very scary experience.

Most likely skid on wet road. Ferraris have very wide tyres susceptible to aqua planing.
Or it could have skidded upon very high acceleration causing car to skid out of control
