WP Press Conference Starts

Very important for WP to manage all their wards well and also ensure the renovations at Rivervale Plaza be completed in double quick time as this will give voters confidence and trust in GE 2016. PAP cannot do it but WP can. But the biggest problem for them is to find enough good candidates to contest in every GRCs and SMCs in this island. So how? Any bros from here?

I suggest Aljunied 6 core members split and each lead a team to contest one GRC in 2016. Follow PAP style, let less exposed members coattail via the veteran into parliament. Yen Yee Jong should come out of SMC in joo chiat and lead a team to contest in Tg Pagar.

What resources are you talking about? They will need just one person to prepare the message/some standard answers and getting everyone together for a short rehearsal.

Didn't you know that LLL had to rush back to the HQ and had just made it on time for the conference and they were able to announce so many things including the first MPS in just a week's time together with the info on the venue showed that it was very well organized. On the other hand, I find the PAP's conference very ordinary. My original impression here and in past elections, CNA seemed always to want to give PAP the earlier and longer broadcast time even when they were the loser, even when the winner would be making their thank you speeches on site. This sounded very odd to me, focussing on the loser instead of the winner, a sour loser feeling. WP must have noted this trend and therefore move their press conference to their own office where they have their backdrop properly set up.

WP gave their best but not prepare to win, pap don't care but prepare to win. who will you vote for?

My impression of the WP Press Conference:

Low key, simple... nothing fanciful... nothing ecstatic... not the most polished or articulate... but serious, sincere and humble servants of people

Fully agree. And that's why the WP can connect with the people so very much more and better than the PAP. Teo Chee Hean and Koh Poh Koon were just spouting off standard cliches that totally lack any "heart" at its press conference

I was suprised LTK asked for the mic and then said the WP would "assist" the govt to work harder. Either he didn't want to gloat and be humble, or he's afraid or sorry that the WP won? Also want to remind everyone that voters Punggol east voters know the result of this BE will not have a big impact on the constitution of parliament. Wp shouldn't expect this kind of results in Ge16.

Probably worried about what other new tricks will pap have at next GE. Also PE has big problem with rivervale mall. What if pap play punk and sabotage using govt agencies to delay work? Then the blame falls on WP.

Voters now are more informed via alternate media and they are more knowledgeable, as long as we see a long term goal that is good for Singapore, voting pattern will change and we no longer let politicians bullshit us and tell us what to think, it is a long process and maturing fast, the usual tactics use by PAP, dishing out goodies before election, GRC system, instill fear that you may be mark if your are business owner or civil servant, verbal threat and withholding of services controlled by PAP to opposition ward will all fail, people are daring enough to stand up against all this bullying tactics and show them the middle finger.

If PAP don't repent and start serving the interest of Singapore and Singaporeans, they have yet to see what real defeat is.
