i can decide to buy Kep Corp shares because I know there is demand for oil rigs and Kep Corp is well positioned in that business and yet disagree with TH to invest in lemon companies...

Having more of it shown is not so much for proving any point, as anyone with some good sense of moral and righteous thinking can see not just mediocrity, but something worse that.
Rather, it is more important to allow those many daft ones who still haven't the slightest clue about anything other than their iPhones, discos, TV soap operas, or whatever, to have at least a glimpse of the underlying reality of things. Having been shielded from seeing the light their whole life, so to speak, they can only continue to be daft and dafter than before. For them, more exposure is good for their development.

I agree...all must help to educate.
But it is the pap's fault to keep Singaporeans naive and not knowing the whole truth..it will take a while to undo the damage done by the pap
In the past, with no other media in existence, that was extremely easy for them to do, hence we are seeing the product we see today - the daftness and 'automatic' idiocy of many.

They Porlumpa the MPs and never report real grounds situation to the top. They didn't tell of the sufferings and hardship of the people in their wards. They only wants free trips and special treatments for joining the CCC. Hence here we are ... they created RC for the people but the people fcuk up the people for greed.
And that's because of morals.. they don't have it.
When you have a village or kumpung or heritage you take care of your parents, you want to show the village that you are a good son you have pride. But staying in HDB pigeon holes and SG start as a fishing port when immigrants come from all over the region we lack heritage so less pride, less morals ... final results Kiasu ..no pride, no morals.

yes...my mother generation's daftness is the result of PAP's fault.

The more daft people they produce, the better for them. Daft people are needed to keep them in power for as long as possible.
But hopefully in the Internet age, daft people will become lesser and lesser. But it may already be too late to make good the societal damage already wrought. The very moral foundations are damaged beyond rectification. Like no 'capable' person will want to serve the country unless they are being paid a salary which is equal to that of many of the world's leaders combined.

But daft citizens are not good for SG...daft citizens dont put spurs on PAP's hide and make them work for their pay...with some singaporeans waking up from the slumber you see the stress on LHL and the pap...they just cant cope
