To me, pap is mediocre:

1. to combat road congestion, increase ERP

2. to reduce medical apptmt waiting time, lengthen time between each check up from 3mths to 4 mths

3. to pay for bus drivers pay increase, increase bus fares

4. to make TH mgmt look prfitable, sell strategic assets such as Senoko power station and realise the profit

etc

How the 60% voters can fail to see such a glaring and obvious MORAL difference between the above-mentioned two groups of people in our society is mind-boggling to say the least. It speaks tons about the voters' stupidty, ignorance, naivety, or intellectual dishonesty, or any combination of those.

In a word, they are willing to give their souls to let the Devil have it's way.

But the rest are those who are rich and couldn't care a damn about others' suffering ("get out of my uncaring face!", "peanuts", etc). Of course we don't expect those to suddenly be struck with enlightenment of compassion any time in the future.

yes..the pap , grassroots, their cronies who benefit from their associations..they are happy to suck from the poor and hardworking singaporeans who struggle through life to make ends meet and feed their children
