Why asians don't use dishwashers?

Asians seems to dislike the use of a dishwashing machine. Why?

And asian manufacturers like Samsung LG Toshiba Panasonic etc etc are among the top manufacturers of dishwashing machines.

I find it strange. A culture shock for me.

Because these machines can only wash dishes? Asian cooking got a lot of woks and pots that need to be washed too. Useless is a machine that occupies so much space and can only wash dishes.
