Hi, can start another thread to enlighten us peasants about this important history of Singapore. I always remember Yeo Ning Hong proclaiming himself to be "sleeping like a baby" at night when asked about the competition from Malaysia. Later Maersk declared setting up operations in Malaysia, then the re-org at PSA and the mass retrenchments then in the early 2000s.

and all the hot air about PSA wanted to get listed but until now after so many CEO still unable to.
I think Maple tree is the real winner of the re org of PSA. in Singapore, anything to do with land and property sure make money, which is very bad.
the worst is, its the GLC which lead the whole country into this building of bubble.

If I am not wrong, this guy is the boss of Chong Pang nasi lemak... Along Sambawang road.. very difficult to find a car park... I saw him a few times tending the drink stall...

Boss of Chong Pang nasi lemak is one Ah Hua, a non-gambler and very thrifty chap.

So he admits owing the money but don't want to repay it because it was illegal to give it to him? And he found out that it's illegal only after happily gambled it away? What a dog...

Close the stupid casinos already!

Cannot suka suka catch ...there are rules and laws. If the rules and laws don't matter, then why have them? He figured out the rules while MBS did not ...he wins. That's fair because MBS was sloppy.

I used to stay in yishun. The nasi lemak at this store is crap. Plain rice and no taste. They are busy cause they have alot of dishes. To me its just overpriced economy rice.
Agree. This stall taste normal, nothing to shout about. Probably parking is "free" as people just illegal park along road, and as this creates a queue, more people stopped by to try. Popular for those on way home to woodlands and yishun.

It was much better when it was at the old Chong Pang market...would drive there at 2am just to eat it. Nowadays, not good anymore but still got people go because of its branding.

i first tried it when visiting a friend who stays in that area......brought me there insist i die die must try.....machiam what fantastic nasi lemak.....apparently the north side residents very deprived.......this type standard also says good.

Another thing i notice about the north side residents like to eat those economical beehoon......in yishun and woodlands almost every other coffee shop there is a stall selling this and even for dinner......there's one in 848 yishun they machaim elevated to those must try food status......i mean this food hardly can even be considered as a dish. Just food that people eat for breakfast when there's nothing else to eat.
