I know this thread is a bit old, but I’m curious if anyone remembers how quickly other budget chains tried to copy that whole model back then. It felt like the whole scene shifted almost overnight. Did any of you ever notice differences between the various branches, or were they all basically the same vibe?

I was told the original hotel was at No 81 along one of the G lorongs. he just expanded and expanded after that. Most (if not all) of the building are self owned hence he survived the pandemic... this guy is damn lucky

He kena tekan by PAP when they found out he donated to opposition. Pap outlawed the transit model overnight. Uncle fought back by discounted whole day rates.
