Trump’s handling of the ceasefire deal has been well-received by the markets; each time he shifts the goalposts, stocks rise and oil prices fall. Meanwhile, House politicians wait anxiously for deadlines that are quietly extended, only to find themselves waiting for the goalpost to shift again.
