VacciNATION...

The vaccine either doesn't protect you or getting vaccinated doesn't guarantee a return to pre-pandemic 'normal life'.

So what's the point?

Looks like I’m gonna get the letter in a few days time... To take or not to take, that is the question...

If it's not a passport to normality what is the point?

The risks far outweigh the benefits.

Not a single person in the world can guarantee that mRNA technology will not increase the risk of cancer by 10x or even more. I'm not suggesting that it will but I am saying that nobody has the data to prove it won't be the case.

However by all means go for the non mRNA varieties which have a proven track record.

Anything entails risk. Crossing the road. Hiring an escort. Driving a car or even a bike. Anal fisting. All are risky and we do it daily.

I say YOLO it and get vaccinated. You will be protecting everyone around you.

Everything is indeed risk, but there's a fine line between calculated risk and recklessness.

Those who want to get vaccinated, please carry on. I cannot interfere with free will.

The waitlist is very short. You will get it within 72 hours after submitting. I heard @JohnTan busy knocking doors at AMK GRC to take vaccine.

At first they will tell you to wait three weeks, then message came, become wait 1 week, then message you the next day to go for jab 2 days later.

Sir, I am too young to give you my advice.

But I would encourage you to get vaccinated.

You never know that it might save your life or your family members lives one day. There are simply too many misinformation on the internet causing people to doubt the vaccine.

I agree that nothing is 100% safe, but if you do not have chronic illnesses or allergy problem, there shouldn't be any big concerns.

I wish you the best health, always.

By the way, according to a pretty nurse at a blood donation centre:

If you wish to donate blood after receiving your Covid vaccination.

If no symptoms = can donate three days after vaccination.
If got symptoms = donate one month later.

Symptoms can mean anything.

It's a LP = PL situation. Taking it also involves certain risks and no guarantee of not being infected plus the same restrictions.

Covid: Dalai Lama urges others to get vaccinated as he receives first shot

Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama has received his first dose of the coronavirus vaccine while urging others eligible to "take this injection".

"This is very very helpful, very good," he said as he was given the Oxford-AstraZeneca jab at a facility in the Indian city of Dharamsala on Saturday.

The Dalai Lama had enrolled himself to be vaccinated, officials said.

India launched its vaccination drive on 16 January, but it was limited to healthcare workers and frontline staff.
