Who comprises majority of the audience?
From the looks of it the are mainly "grassroots" consisting of PRs and new "citizens". Even the new "ministers" were first generation "new citizens" who have not contributed to the building of Singapore, but instead had benefitted from our handouts of our own forefathers.
They are like our Lee Bee Wah, Khaw Boon Wan (scholarship from us and no NS) and our table-tennis mercenaries.
I wonder what are the percentage now of such "citizens" ?
No doubt, LKY's first generation of ministers comprises of a few "immigrants" , but they did not received "handouts" and worked hard for their earnings/(or their parents') contributions.
