That ugliness is a brutalist design. Like those concrete buildings in the 60's and 70's. Appreciated by some, offend others.it's getting uglier with each generation which no amount of fixing will stop.
with adblue? I had no idea. I thought adblue was an EU thing. Delicas are immensely popular all over the world. Why the hell they don't just export it whole is a mystery to me.That ugliness is a brutalist design. Like those concrete buildings in the 60's and 70's. Appreciated by some, offend others.
I like the delica due to its awd and diesel engine. But its only sold in japan. With ad-blue diesel which us cumbersome.

They sell adblue in the US too. But diesel is quickly being phased out as no matter how good those particulate filters are, they get choked and as cars get older, emit pollutants. Some european cities have ban diesel cars from entering.with adblue? I had no idea. I thought adblue was an EU thing. Delicas are immensely popular all over the world. Adblue in the US is dead and gone. Marginal subscription at best. They sell adblue in the US too. For vans and suv's i prefer diesel. I have a diesel truck and petrol suv. The diesel truck has not given me any problems at all. Minimum maintenance. I hope they can resolve the bio-diesel issues soon so i can switch on to that.Adblue in the US is dead and gone. Marginal subscription at best.
I've always hated diesel engines. No powerband. One magnificent torque peak and craters next to it. Plus diesel particulates are the world's most potent carcinogen.
And on the subjective side, they sound like agricultural appliances.
I read before you have an ML Mercedes? Which generation? What truck is it?For vans and suv's i prefer diesel. I have a diesel truck and petrol suv. First gen ML. Currently storage. On its last legs. Waiting for delica if it comes. Truck is mitsubishi.I read before you have an ML Mercedes? Which generation? What truck is it?
The MLs were quite maintenance hungry.
Diesels by their nature are pretty robust. I appreciate them in a ship or a truck, but no a passenger vehicle.
First gen ML was a tembak special. They had to come up with solution real quick to put a player in the SUV marketplace which they had neglected. Also at the time Daimler was totally lsot. I'm not surprised you're having durability issues with it. Being a tembak special as well as during Daimler's quality crisis.First gen ML. Currently storage. On its last legs. If they had not gone and tried building the passenger aeroplane, they could still be making great cars. In the end, just like bombardier, they lost everything.
Diesels can last a long time if they are taken care off and well maintained. For example don't mix engine oil. They are extremely durable. N yes for trucks n utes n SUVs..diesel is much better. For example the Toyota land cruiser.. diesel is better n more practical n diesel does not ignite like petrol. N all these diesel Vs petrol etc, I don't have any issues with both. For vans and suv's i prefer diesel. I have a diesel truck and petrol suv. The diesel truck has not given me any problems at all.
