Time For Curfew?

All these youth attacks getting out of hand and police seems helpless.
Can i boldly suggests to implement curfew for all youths under 18. Maybe all must be home by 2359hrs everyday except maybe weekends and public holidays exemption. As recently as a decade ago, we have such curfews if remembered correctly.

I am sure it will go towards curbing current problems, most parents will be happy and public at large also feel safer. This will translate into votes for the govt in the coming elections. Not much downside to this as the youths are all not allow to vote yet as they are under 21.

I am genius or what? govt should employ me to work in their think tank.

can't remember if there actually was a curfew imposed for those under 17 last time.

I have more genius ideas.

We can electronic tagged all the ex offenders with microchip GPS embed under the skin to monitor them, if 3 or more assemble together, an alarm will sound.
Tattoo parlours all must keep detailed records of customers with IC scanning like what you do when purchasing prepaid phone cards.
Police to conduct regular raids and spotcheck in schools.
No youths in school uniforms on the streets after 8pm.
No gathering in void decks, playgrounds, etc after 10pm.

I think if enforece strictly, problems will most be solved.

Perhaps it is the symptom of a larger problem. Having a curfew just hide the problem, it does not solve the problem.
