There was nothing wrong with the policy. It was a policy that was needed at the time it was implemented. There were too many mouths to feed and the wrong group was procreating at more than twice the rate of the rest.

To blame the couples of today for not procreating because of a policy that had already been discontinued more than 3 decades ago is simply ridiculous.

There was also an "Eat more wheat" campaign in the 60s. Are the current eating habits a result of that campaign too?

In reality, the nation have been providing welfare state benefits (juz because of one party rule system) to leeches aka papees leeching on the system. These leeches aka papees wasting nation's time and resources and etc every single second of the Mother Earth's day. By some unfortunate default, we as a nation have to put food on table and tonnes of $$$ for these leeches...


The country needs the government (employees of the public) to work for the country.

When Old Fart listened to the Dutch economists, the policies achieve the results. Then Old Fart believed he was god and came out with its own illogical policies, then we got crap. Even as late as 1984, they were implementing eugenics in the form of the Grad Mothers' Scheme. All of that combined ARTIFICIALLY ACCELERATED what would have been a naturally declining birth rate for a rapidly maturing society.
