I have this friend that I have known from sec school and few years back whenever we talk about Japan he will come and say about how I am a traitor to the motherland and to Singapore because I went to a Japanese uni, bought a Japanese car etc and say did I forget that Japan invaded Singapore and China so they deserve all the bad things happening to them and all.

Known him for many years know and not sure what made him act this way. But ironically he proposed with a Pokemon ring lol.

This thing already happened so long ago and already has nothing to do with our generation but unfortunately he seems to be brainwashed and affected by it

Don't really want this to destroy over 20+ years of friendship but I find it extremely annoying at times.
