<!--start of story text-->Three eateries along Yio Chu Kang Road will have to shutter their operations by early next month because residents do not want them there.
Brisk business at the three eating houses have meant parking and traffic woes for those who live in Rosyth Road and Leith Park, off Yio Chu Kang Road.
They complained to the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), which took action by not allowing the eateries to renew their licences.
The Prata House, House of Seafood and 8 Degrees Taiwanese Bistro were granted approval to operate on a temporary basis, said the URA.

This closing of the restaurants use the same kind of logic of our top class civil service. When there were lack of overnight parking for residents, raise the rates. But they did not explain how raising rates will solve the cause of the 'supply/demand' issue.

Now, when there are traffic jams, close the restaurants. Explore the use of spaces for car parks, summon the really bad parkers. But just close down because of traffic jams?

Why modern days eateries doesnt come with carparks?

Science havent finally commercialise a flying car yet.

If not they can park their cars in the air, and they could repel down to makan.
