<!--start of story text-->Bangladeshi worker Hafizul Islam Kofil Uddin will get to keep $1 million in damages for a 2008 industrial accident that left him paralysed from the waist down.
This after his former employer and two other firms failed in their bid to have the sum almost halved.
The Court of Appeal said it was 'not persuaded' to reduce the sum in judgment grounds issued on Monday.
It was the employer's second appeal, after it failed at the High Court last year.
