The Overseas Sikhs

The tragic history of Punjab which was once united but was divided between Pakistan and India in 1947 resulting in deaths of an estimated upto 1 million people and 15 million people being displaced.
Here is the heartbreaking story of a Sikh family where a 4 year old boy was presumed dead during the partition but re-appeared after 75 years.
When you have useless politicians and Colonials the people have to bear life long sufferings till today and were not granted visas to visit each other.

But their effort paid off and they met with all their respective extended family members at the site where Guru Nanak spent the last 18 years of his life which is commemorated by the Sikh Gurdwara called Kartarpur Sahib which is across the border in Pakistan, Punjab and Pakistan has honorably granted access to all Sikhs to visit without the need for a visa.
