The Legend of Bullshit Lee continues...........

I tot you policeman? How come got so many fights? Share some stories leh. I'm sure many bros here like to hear.

Police fights no count. That's in line of duty. I've got warrant card and revolver, sure win, so no count. But I never bully people, I only did my duty under law. Personal fights more fun, no duty, no rule.

I'm not a martial artist. I don't follow any rule. There's no such thing as opponent lying on floor I can't continue to attack, and vice versa if I'm the one lying on the floor. The fight ends with one side surrendering out loud, or runaway, or one or both parties collapsed, go hospital.

I never surrendered. The opponent had to kill me for that. But I admit there'd be some draws, i.e. both sides agreed on a draw. I've been injured quite badly before too. Broken arm, broken tooth, broken lips, bloody noses and bruises etc.

However, with an opponent like Bruce Lee in a real fight (not movie), I'd be certain to lose within a few seconds. He's too fast and too powerful. There's no chance I could ground him.

Don't believe the movies, not even Bruce Lee movies. Such fights in real life (not competition or exhibition martial arts) are over by one or two minutes max. No such thing as rest for next rounds and pointscoring.

You don't seem to want to tell us how do u get involved in such fights?

It's definitely not sparring matches with martial artists since they won't fight in such a match.

Therefore how in the hell do u get someone to want to spar like that with you until 1 side ends up in hospital?
Is there some sort of fight club in sg?

I wonder where can i find someone that's willing to fight with me till either 1 of us ends up in hospital.

Probably gangsters but then gangsters will fight in gangs they won't go alone and besides most fights are spur of the moment fights. Most ppl fight due to the moment and circumstances, they don't agree to anything beforehand.

Again how do u get to know these type of ppl to fight? They cannot be your frens obviously and another thing i find that i need to be angry to fight. Like there's no way i would want to whack up a stranger for no reason. I need to be mad at the person first.

Actually I'm his mom and I can tell you. :p:D

He used to get into fights for no good reason other than the fact that he wanted me to sayang him more whenever he got bashed up.

Unfortunately, some of the people were his friends whom he sparred with for fun. Like they'd put a box of sushi in the middle and the winner gets to eat it, that sorta thing. :)

One of the reasons I'm on this forum is to make sure that my wayward kid doesn't spend too much time on unsuitable websites.

So if I see him posting too much, I'd kick his ass and make sure he spends more time on his homework. :)

Have some respect for a dead man.

How would you like me telling the whole world, after your mother died, that she screw all the Indians in Little India? She cannot raise up to defend herself. So is Bruce Lee.

Why not you go into one of those Chinese Martial Arts school in the Kuala Lumpur Chinatown or just across in JB is good enough. Tell them the same thing. I think they would prove it on you first then show you all the gold medals later.

I myself have been practicing Wing Chung Kung Fu since I was a kid and now at age almost 55 I have seem and been to a few real fights and walk away from some scary moments. Lost some, win some in some full contacts. However in my last 10 years as I mature in my art, I have many 5 to 6 dans of TKD and Karate practioners who are 30 to 40 years old come to my basement gym in Edmonton, Alberta and I have yet to have anyone not impressed by Wing Chung kung fu after a quick 3 seconds of sparring.

Yea, only 3 seconds or less I am able to convince them the supriority of Wing Chung Kung Fu.

My normal way is to tell them to use all their martial arts skill to fight me and I tell them prior to attacking them "exactly how I move in and where I hit them and within 1 second!" I can even repeat the same move 2 more times and they cannot defend themselves. All these 3 attacks take 3 seconds!

Friend, real Kung Fu is that good. We do not need to prove it. It is like if you shot a M16, you know it is that powerful and you do not need to shoot and kill somebody to prove it.

When someone have gone into the Chinese Kung Fu and practice it with passion, one will know the inner working of it.

That's nothing wrong with other martial arts, but simply "Traditional Kung FU" (NOT those Wu Shu from communist China) are superior. Have a good look at Chow Lay Fatt where you learn all the weapons, internal strength and Chinese medicine and lion dance. Wow they are the complete system. The Hung Kar is another one.

In Wing Chung we must admit we do not learn the "complete" Chinese martial arts culture as we only learn 2 forms of weapons and the wooden dummy and 3 fighting patterns. It is simple but "confusing". Yes Simple, NOT complicated as we do not have all kinds of fancy kicks and not need to to stretch, but it is very confusing to other practionals.

Let me explain to you.

Is 0, 1, 2....9 simple? Now what if I give you a list say 30 numbers in quick time of 3 seconds.
9,3,8,4,5,6,.........................0,6,7,

You will have hard time listening let alone remember them.

Wing Chung Kung Fu is so simple that many people do not like to learn. It's too simple, there is nothing to show. However, for those who know martial arts well...those in 5 dans and above, they will appreciate the straight forward simplicity of Wing Chung and be awed by its speed.

You may say Kung Fu is bull shit, but I hope you will one day touch base with a true Wing Chung or Choy Lay Fatt Kung Fu master and deep in your soul you will know. When you hear a song or music, have you ever been touched by it until you know your soul sings along? That's what I mean 'deep in your soul" you know how good kung fu is.

Wing Chun and other traditional Kung fu are like water. They flow into you defence. We don't fight, we "explode". It is like water pressing against a damn. When there is an crack in the damn wall, water does not fight its way in, it "EXPLODES". That's Kung fu my friend.

True Kung Fu is like a fisher man. He cannot beat a Olympic swimmer but certainly he knows where the fish and sharks are and where is the underwater current and most of the danger spots...he learn to survive. He does not need to prove that he is a champion, he knows it within his soul that he can bring food to the table to his family.

I do not need to fight to prove myself, but just pray that no one is stupid enough to attack me or my family.

As you mature in martial arts, you will know that "competition" is not the only way to prove your skill. Just like competition is not the only way to bring out the best cook or chef in the world. It takes passion and love ...that's why our own mothers are the "best cooks" in the world. Got it?
