IDIOTS buyers thinking Apple as a GOOD BRAND when indeed it is just a SUCKER QUALITY BRAND.

Quality and services are WORST in the world. Any stupid Thailand brand PRC Brand won't be so fucked up that batteries will go flat for nothing and touch panel glass will break easily when dropped.

Yet after selling millions and collected money from sucker customers still failed to solve their shameful software bugs.:oIo::*:

Steve Jobs die better Apple Inc die. We don't need to see it again ever. Burn and buried and forgotten.

iOS 5.0.1 didn't rescue much

iOS 5.0.1 didn't rescue much

The upgrade was supposed to be a fix for the battery problem. It also allowed iPhone users to have multitasking gesture support that was previously only available to the iPad 2. It also addressed a security problem, which allowed data thieves to steal data by creating an app for the App Store. This update was also Apple's first over the air update, which users could access by being connected to Wi-fi and having at least 50 percent of their battery left. The OS caused the battery problem, because a bug kept the Setting Time Zone function track location constantly, eventually draining the battery power, even if the user hadn’t used the device, as much.

However, even after installing the update, users still complained of battery issues. One user posted on the Apple forums, "5.0.1 is a bust! I was one of the lucky ones getting two days out of a charge, albeit with a lot shut off. After updating I am seeing my power drain at a much quicker rate. Nice."

Hopefully a solution to this new problem will come soon.

I don't think there are any big apple fans here. Maybe singveld is one but if there were they would give you 1001 reasons why iphone4s is superior.

Re: Stupid Apple better be dead like Jobs simple problem in iPhone 4S still failed to

It would be fair if you have an iPhone and comment about it, if you dun have, then too bad. I do owned 3G, 3Gs and 4G iPhones, it is not a major issue at all.

It is very simply a product QC failure. And this is not any experimental 1st time product. It is version 4S already supposed to be version 5 which they had further failed to make until now. If they had done their jobs to test their fucking products before even showing to the world, not to say sell them for customers good money. This should not had happened. Simply unacceptable.

How to answer to customers and share holders?

So serious bugs in software and mass produced and shipped and sold?

Yet there just enough BRAINLESS SUCKERS to Q up to pay for the bugged product regardless of the seriously useless flawed product that will run flat battery for not using? Yet that CB phone can not replace batteries like all others. Your iphone flat means you can not pop a new battery in and continue to use. You are forced to stop using and charge it immediately.:*:

Did Nokia or Sony Ericsson or any cheap India brand handphone ever failed like this in the world?

I had not seen it.

Fucked up and expensive product that is crazy quality and yet full of sucker customers to waste good money to pay for.

You have already answered your own question on the part i highlighted in red. What's the purpose of making a product better other than the designers own ego to search for perfection which isn't a big factor. Yup you make your products better cos you hope more customers buy them.

Here's a thing. What if customers want your products no matter how fucked up they are? Yup there's no need to waste money to make them better since customers will still like them regardless. There's your answer. They will always have a fan base that will buy their products and it's not getting smaller any time soon. After all many sinkies lined up and slept on the streets to be the first to buy the ip4s and it was shown on the news.

In the case of the battery it sucks so i brought a external battery along.

Practically most hand phones are dropped. Countless number of phones fell to ground every second worldwide. From bags from pockets from tables from seats from desk from bed from hands etc. Most of the time don't break.

Some hand phones drop into toilet with shit.:*:

Some went into washing machines and added washing powder & spin.:D

My felling to aquarium when I was changing tank water hor. Don't laugh hor heat pain hor.:(:(

Apple is a gone case laughingstock already lah. It is the extreme already. How can a product be sold when quality is so poor and service is so terrible. Never get sued by millions of customers is a miracle. IDA should ban this fucked up product. I think Isreal banned iPad and confiscated them all at airport baggage scan. IDA should make Apple Inc pay fine for compromise consumers' rights.

USA consumers rights is dual standard also. They made Nissan & Toyota & Korean cars etc recall millions of cars for very minor faults. Apple iPhone so fucked up like this never order a recall. What are the courts doing? Judges got bribed? Should rule that Apple Inc pay back consumers and replace immediately with properly working phones FOC.

KNN!

Re: Stupid Apple better be dead like Jobs simple problem in iPhone 4S still failed to

Liar Apple is telling lies like the PAP when they explained that their OS bug was only in Time Zone Update that had drained their batteries dry. This is much like the PAP's flood lies. Excuses and BS made up to try to look good and deny that they are in deep shit and had no idea what the hell is really wrong.

The update that is supposed to solve that notorious problem failed to do that. A crucial fault persist.

Then it is just like PAP proved to media that they had cleared up choked Orchard culverts & done their jobs, and then in the next few days it flooded again in Orchard. In the 1st place culverts aren't supposed to choke and their supposed cleaning and maintenance jobs are failures. However they pointed to the wrong problems which they obviously had too many in their hands. They also had no idea which problem had fucked them the most, and they failed their trouble shootings.Worst is there are big and real problems which they have no way to fix and are too big for them to have any balls to admit.

They are willing only to admit to tiny faults like blocked Orchard Culverts.

Apple also lied that it was a tiny time zone auto update issue. That was not the main issue and there was something else much more serious than what they are willing to admit. That became obvious.

The success of Apple is what the other phone makers are so envious about. Same with the fan support period.

Taipei, Nov. 12 (CNA) A mountain climber who fell to a ravine in central Taiwan and was rescued seven days later thanks to his smartphone was rushed to a hospital Saturday after being airlifted out of his predicament by An air force helicopter earlier in the day.

The preliminary health check conducted at the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Kaohsiung showed that Kang Chi-cheng, a manager with the Taiwanese smartphone company HTC Corp., was weak but generally in good health. Chen Yu-ming, the pilot of the rescue chopper, said Kang was suffering pain down the right side of his body, as well as suffering various other minor injuries. "Thank you for all the help,"Kang's elder sister Kang Kuei-hsiu said. "My brother has been rescued by many people." Kang fell into a deep valley while hiking on Nanhuda Mountain in Taroko National Park on Nov. 5. He called the 119 SOS hotline the same day and was finally located in the ravine on Friday. However, strong wind, torrential rain and the rugged terrain in the area where Kang fell have severely hampered rescue attempts. Lai Si-ming, a deputy division chief at the Taichung City Fire Department, said he has been stationed at a command center at Lishan near Nanhuada Mountain since Nov. 7 to coordinate rescue missions. He now felt greatly relieved, Lai said, explaining that over the past days he has been highly stressed because of having to consider the safety of his colleagues who were out on the mountain trying to save Kang. He understood the extreme anxiety and worry that Kang's family felt, he stated. (By Huang Kuo-fang, Sophia Chen and Elizabeth Hsu)

Police rescuers yesterday reached a telephone engineer who fell off a cliff in central Taiwan one week ago.

"You have made it, thank you," an injured, hungry, and enfeebled Kang Chi-cheng told rescuers at 11:48 a.m.

However, it could be another two days before the injured man reaches a hospital because rescuers, inhibited by the difficult terrain, have to physically carry him because a helicopter could not be used in the mountainous area because of the continued bad weather.

Kang had used his smart phone to establish and tell police his exact location after injuring his midsection and other parts of his body during the fall on Nov 5.

Before reaching him, police maintained intermittent cellphone contact with Kang, as the connection was often interrupted by poor signal as he sought shelter from pelting rain.

Rescuers carring Kang downhill on foot, as bad weather was preventing rescue helicopters from lifting off. If the weather improves, a helicopter will be deployed to fly Kang and his rescuers to safety, according to police.

Kang could have been left stranded for a lot longer were it not for the global positioning system that comes with his HTC smart phone.

Immediately after his fall into a deep ravine in the Nanhu Mountains in Taichung, Kang, a software engineer with smart phone maker HTC, used the Google Maps application on his HTC smart phone to establish the coordinates of his location and then called for help.

He told rescuers on the phone that he had sustained injuries in his mid-section and other parts of his body and had had food for another day. Kang also described what he was wearing and gave the exact coordinates of his location.

Shortly after receiving Kang's call around 4 p.m. on Nov 5, police and fire department rescuers embarked on a search and rescue operation in the mountains based on information from Kang.

If you used Apple iPhone throw them away!

They will kill you when you depended on them to save your live. Because their fucking batteries dies for no reasons.

Incredible: HTC Manager trapped on mountain for 7 days, despite sending rescuers his location

12th November 2011 by Matt Brian

Here’s an impressive story to ease yourself into the weekend with.

Last Saturday, an HTC manager by the name of Kang Chi-cheng embarked on a mountain climb, aiming to scale the Nanhu Mountains in central Taiwan. However, Kang plunged into a ravine during his climb, and whilst he suffered injures, was able to use his mobile phone to call for help, using his HTC smartphone to give his coordinates to the Taichung Fire Department.

Unfortunately for the HTC employee, bad weather meant that he would have to wait seven additional days to be rescued, with rescue teams unable to perform a detailed search due to bad weather. Officials were finally able to give the order to Air Force helicopter crews to extract the stricken climber at Midday yesterday – even then, it still took over four hours for the S-70 helicopter to leave its base and make its way to the scene.

With Kang stuck on the mountain for a full seven days, he had depleted his food and provisions and had spent the last two days without food. Once safely off the mountain, crews had to be careful with nutrition, providing Kang with water in order to kick-start his digestive functions.

Taichung Fire Department came under fire over the length of time it took to remove Kang from the mountain but officials said heavy rain left mountain paths very muddy, which made it very difficult to mobilize rescue teams to climb the mountain and find the HTC manager. The department still mobilised 10 units in the search and rescue effort, including civilian volunteers, totalling 290 men and four helicopters.

Kang is said to be stable, his sister told local media:

”Thank you for all the help. My brother has been rescued by many people.”

Following the ordeal, a fire department official in Taipei issued pointers on how to use life-saving functions embedded within today’s smartphones. Using Kang’s example, officials indicated that by using Google Maps, people that had found themselves lost during a hike could call in their coordinates and assist rescue teams should they need to extract that person.

Yeh Ching-feng, a commissioner with the Taipei City Fire Department, told the media:

iPhone users can click open Google Map, hit the “my location” button to find out their coordinates and then dial “112” the universal emergency phone number, Yeh said.

Users of android-based smart phones, however, have to download software such as GPS Status or GPS Compass before they can find out the longitudinal and latitudinal coordinates of their locations, Yeh explained.

Users of regular cellphones, if they are stranded in the mountains, can still be located and reached if their locations are within cellphone coverage, Yeh continued, adding that the service provider and their base stations can locate the point where a call is initiated by triangulation, with an error ranging from 20 to 100 meters.

Official gives cell phone pointers after mountain rescue
A fire department official in Taipei yesterday explained how to use the life-saving functions of some smart phones.

The officials spoke after the rescue of a cellphone engineer in the Nanhu Mountains in central Taiwan earlier in the day.

Rescuers were able to pinpoint the location of Kang Chi-cheng (康吉成), 33, who fell into ravine while hiking after he used his HTC smart phone to established and tell police the coordinates of his location,.

Yeh Ching-feng (葉清峰), a commissioner with the Taipei City Fire Department, said smart phone users stranded in the mountains could use the device to get their messages out .

iPhone users can click open Google Map, hit the “my location” button to find out their coordinates and then dial “112” the universal emergency phone number, Yeh said.

Users of android-based smart phones, however, have to download software such as GPS Status or GPS Compass before they can find out the longitudinal and latitudinal coordinates of their locations, Yeh explained.

But smart phones are not a foolproof device for mountain climbers. If a person is stranded deep in the mountains beyond cellphone coverage, the smart phones would be useless, according to Yeh, who added that a satellite phone would be handy under such a circumstance.

Satellite phones are available at satellite phone rentals, Yeh said.

Users of regular cellphones, if they are stranded in the mountains, can still be located and reached if their locations are within cellphone coverage, Yeh continued, adding that the service provider and their base stations can locate the point where a call is initiated by triangulation, with an error ranging from 20 to 100 meters.

Users complain Apple update didn't fix battery‎
Apple Inc customers say devices with the new iOS 5 operating system are still suffering from weak battery life.
SAN FRANCISCO: Apple Inc customers say devices with the new iOS 5 operating system are still suffering from weak battery life, even after the company issued a software update meant to fix the malfunction.

Users took to message boards on Apple's website to complain that the software remedy delivered yesterday hasn't corrected the flaw. The criticisms first surfaced after Apple released the mobile operating system last month, in conjunction with its new iPhone 4S. Apple said that it's looking into the matter.

"The recent iOS software update addressed many of the battery issues that some customers experienced on their iOS 5 devices," said Trudy Muller, a spokeswoman for Cupertino, California-based Apple. "We continue to investigate a few remaining issues."

Apple also drew controversy last year over the previous iPhone's antenna, which would lose signal when gripped a certain way -- a problem known as "Antennagate." Apple gave away free cases and updated the software to address those complaints. The iOS software runs on the iPhone, as well as the iPad and iPod Touch media player.

The company responded to the battery-life criticism last week, saying a "few bugs" have affected a "small number" of customers. Apple didn't elaborate on what was causing the problem. The company's iOS devices account for about two-thirds of its sales.

One customer said today that battery life has gotten worse since the software update, while others complained that the battery loses 10 percent of its power each hour.

Apple's shares fell 0.2 per cent to $384.62 in US trading. While the stock is still up 19 per cent this year, it has lost ground in the past three trading days.
