This is a valid strategy. In general if the rescue spin counter is under 300, it is worthwhile to sit down and play. You should start with min bet and slowly increase your bet. A rough gauge is to increase to half the max bet when the counter reaches 200 and max bet when the counter gets to 100. If you play this way, good chance to get a positive expectations games.

For some of the newer azure games, there is now an option to switch off the rescue spin. If you are playing on an older machine with no option to switch off the rescue spin. best strategy is to always to play until you hit a feature and STOP immediately. If you hit a dry spell and reach 300 without a rescue spin, press on with the earlier strategy of slowly increasing your bet as the counter draws down to 0.

This one I really have no idea, so far I haven't use my GP to book for star cruise cabin. Sis jjcc88 knows better.

Sometimes I really wonder whether the machine gives better ROI with the Rescue Spin turned OFF rather than when turned ON instead !

There is a "multiplier" counter. This counter is low when you minimum bet and goes up as the bet increases. The real gem is to find one with low spin to rescue and also high multiplier.
Aruze will not allow people to arbitrage by betting min until the last 10 spin and then max to get the rescue spin. At min until last 10, your mulitiplier is also going to be low even if you max in the last 10 spin. Hence the payout during the feature is going to be low too.

I have been bitten just like Kia. At $20max, even the last 100 spin is going to require $2k if the feature doesnt come.
