They're using Sinkie patriotism to sell 5G to daft Sinkies.

Simple solution is for stinktel to offer 5G free to all existing subscribers

Fucking Sinktel really got problems growing their business.. 5g isn't for simi sai consumer level movie streaming or game downloading. The present 4g can already handle all this.

5g is really for industrial applications like self driving cars and IOT

Here's my daily experience
- <20% of the time, i get connected to 5G. Usually 5G connection when i am outdoors
- In office or home, 4G
- In office or home toilets, 3G

So they make u pay full 5G cost every month but you only enjoy it 20% of the time? lol

in office or home it’s 100% wifi. and office working sinkies spend more time at these two locations than anywhere else. this is why wifi is the most effective and efficient offloading broadband access for mobile networks. mobile operators should thank their wifi counterparts for saving sextra capacity required to serve everything mobile, instead of complaining about wifi competition. with the cost savings mobile networks should be offering mobile access at lower rates instead of increasing them for “upgrades”. in u.s. that’s sexactly what is happening. competition among not only mobile operators but also with wifi providers (usually cable and fiber operators) spurs innovation, reliability and efficiency and causes prices to cum down. it should be the case in sg but i suppose it’s an oligarchy in sg.

If/when Elon Musk's Starlink is fully operational, Stinktel can more or less kiss goodbye to their 5G investment.

starlink very sexpensive. need a sizable sat antenna and sign up as commercial customer. retail for the masses not ready yet until 2025 with t-mobile. speeds will be like 4g not 5g. 5g ultra capacity (uc) is only for urban terrestrial environments. 5g (national coverage) is like 4g lte advanced, capable of 1gbps if you’re the only user in a sector.

MyRepublic and Starhub's home broadband is the worst.
