5G has been around for almost a decade. At first, we had to pay more for the service and now, it is part of most telco plans.
I noticed that 5G is unreliable due to their frequencies. 5G needs clear line-of-sight to work well, otherwise, when I am in my workplace/home/buildings, 4G is more stable and I don't need incredible speed to watch video or sexting online.
It makes me wonder if Telcos were conned to upgrade to 5G amidst the hype 10 years ago and spent huge investments to upgrade the infrastructure. It doesn't really offer much improvement in user-experience. In fact, i noticed that Two-bar signal-strength in 5G can slower than Two-bar for 4G when I am indoors.
ok, let's wait for the real deal. 6G
