Isn't time for 2 dollar coins like euro and australia?

2 dollars can't get u much in sinkieland nowadays

if you have more $1 and $2 coins in your wallet, your pants' pocket will tear eventually. notes are too flimsy and torn easily.

good idea. even my one dollar fruit juice is now two dollars...my satay beehoo is now $4...one stick satay is now 60 cents ...must order at least 10 sticks..$6......mee ribus $3...kwayteow soup $3.....everything is Up Up Up and Away...it's a run away inflation now during and after the LNY....nahbeh!!!...protest with my feet!!!...now eating at home :(

I find the new "plastic" type notes are very tough. Never had any problems even when they were wet.

I agree. Those 5 cents coins are the most irritating coins to have in my pocket.

I find the new "plastic" type notes are very tough. Never had any problems even when they were wet.

You can put them in the washing machine and they will be intact still. I believe the plastic note is to counter and counterfeiting.

I do actually feel the new designs are nice and simple.

But hopefully they will also mint and circulate commemorative coins like what Australia does with their 50c and 20c coins once in a while. Also good if they can have a 2$ and 5$ coin.

LKY's fuckface will probably replace Yusof Ishak's in the future.

Most likely they are scouting for another Armold Machin or Czelaw Slania to design and carve a portrait to be used on bank notes, stamps, posters etc... or hung huge like the GREAT LEADER in PRC...
