So has the perp been caught yet? This was clearly an inside job by someone with inside information. If you're rich, you should be careful who you trust.

And don't flaunt your wealth. Even your bff will want to rob you if the bff heard personally straight from your mouth where you keep your $50k worth of gold coins.

ONLY the masterbedroom was ransacked. The perp knew exactly which room the cash and gold coins were kept.
“My room was ransacked, the wardrobe drawers were pulled out, and my clothes were scattered everywhere.”
“It didn’t look like the burglars had entered the second bedroom, where I kept all my paintings. The living room also looked untouched,” Mr Koeh said.

The perp has brains and is not some common thief. The smartphone devices were left untouched because the perp knows they can be used to track him down.
But two new mobile phones – including a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra worth about $1,500 – were left untouched, along with a Samsung notebook on the dining table and around 200 oil paintings.

The perp knew the condo layout, knew about the intercom unit and planned well ahead with clear ingress and egress points.
The kitchen window had been prised open and the intercom unit inside his apartment removed.

The perp knew the victim's travelling schedule and when the condo unit would be vacant for him to strike.
While veteran Singaporean artist Koeh Sia Yong was away in Indonesia for nearly two months earlier in 2025, his bedroom drawers back home were emptied of more than $50,000 in valuables.
Mr Koeh, a second-generation Nanyang artist whose works have been exhibited across Asia, had left Singapore on Jan 20 for his annual trip to Bali.
