No exciting startup, no Uber, no Airbnb, no Trump, no Leicester ... Just same old same old when the world is changing dramatically outside our borders. We are getting left behind before long!

As long as the laundry business is thriving who gives a fuck? Our positioning is "safe place for foreigners to live"

Mission accomplished.

That's why the PAP can continue to govern. A thinking population is a threat to the PAP domination. Thinking sinkees see how the PAP is screwing them. Who, of average intelligence, would think that the CPF return is great when safer investment offers them 7 percent?

Come join us in the land of the free and live the American dream

Orderly in sinkapore? With so many third world foreigners, there is no longer order. It is survival of the fittest.

You can live in Malaysia with high crime rate if you want some excitement.

I think Malaysia crime rate is not extra high. You just avoid some areas. The problem is arrogant and lawless neighbours who think they are rich and behaved like king.

The world is changing being 'disrupted' by new and exciting trends that tend to destroy existing establishment. Singapore is pro establishment to the hilt ! If we don't go with the flow or even lead the way, we will be like the Kodaks or Nokias, discarded to the dustbin of history!

We need more people doing soil research, that would make it more exciting. :D

And the media keeps reminding the people that this is a "conservative" society. So, don't do anything that might be too "exciting" and cause disruption to the harmony the people have worked so hard to achieve!

Cheers!

fucking agree, spend one month in melbourne and u will never want to come back.

singapore is a fucking boring city for families to raise their fucking annoying kids and brats.if ur idea of the epitome of life is dragging a bunch of punk ass brats around shopping malls, ride silly trains, make a shit ton of noise or sitting at some playground in the shopping mall watching ur kids play,or annoying the fuck out of everyone on the public transport, supermarket then by all means stay in SG.

australia is a world for grown ups for mature people and adults, australia is there to blow ur mind, not just the entertainment, the arts culture architecture and nature,to appreciate the finer things of life, australia is a place for adults to socialize, australia is huge

Yes, one thing you should never do is quarrel with your sibling in public, that would be too exciting. :D
