With national day around the corner, wrote a poem for national day.

Singapore, My home, my dream
------------------------------

For all the places I have been,
and all the beautiy I have seen,
My heart takes me back to Singapore,
The place I truly adore.

Other place may beacon,
with cool weather, 4 seasons.
Big homes on sale,
A nice car for a steal.
But here is where I choose to stay,
Despite struggling day to day.

For this is my home,
A place I never feel alone.
Close to my friends and family,
Childhood memories I recall fondly.
Despite all my travelling,
Nowhere else can I get this feeling,

The daily grind of crowded buses,
Tough competition and expensive houses.
Stressful living and workplace blues
Despite all the bad things govt can do,
My perfect dreams can never be blemished
For our pledge and ideals will always be cherished.
We will overcome our current adversity,
To bring back justice and equality.
Realise our pledge to build a democratic society,
Hand to our children our hard earned liberty.

This my home truly,
Where my heart longs to be.
It is where my dreams are waiting,
Where I find my sense of belonging.
There is no other place I want to stay,
For I will fufil my dreams here one day

Promise to a child

A society that cares.
A country that's free.
Opportunities for your talent.
Fair wages for your labor.
Affordable dwellings.
Healthcare for all.
Respect for your rights.
Free and fair elections.
Security for your family.
A place you can call home.
Leadership that looks out for you.
Ability to start your own family.
A better life than the previous generation.
Dignity in your old age.

There is no other place I want to stay,
For I will fufil my dreams here one day

You will find this sinkie land a place of bad dreams if PAP continues to flood this red dot with foreign scums to make life hell for natives.
