I limped my way to NUH A&E four years ago thinking that I had fractured my toe after a kick with a hard object (usually when you suspect you have bone fracture, you go to the hospital A&E). Waited for half a day, had my X-ray taken and seen a Pinoy doctor in charge, she said that there is nothing wrong with me judging from the X-ray photo and sent me back with a few packets of pain killers.

Two days later, my foot hurt so much that I almost had to be carried to see my Singaporean family clinic doctor hoping for some good advice. He listened to me and checked my foot for less than a minute, then he told me “I think you have gout”. In just two days with the anti-inflammation gout medicine, I was again on my two legs and able to run around. Such is the quality of SOME of the foreign talents that the government brought in. Do not believe that they are talent until proven. Good and smart talent, my foot !!
From that day onwards, I try to choose the doctors who are tending to me or my relatives. There were fatal cases of miscommunications with such foreign doctors who do not understand our local dialects when dealing with elderly patients.

Sad Singaporean

hehehe share same thought as you. Luckily he didn't suffer a heart attack or he might complain that the doctor failed to see his heart problem from his x-ray.

He should have gone to see Gregory House.
