SDP - It's Political Future - discuss

Forummer Yellowarse is confident that SDP has a political future and that 2016 will be Chee's final attempt to make it after which he will retire if not elected. He also feels that there are capable and willing people that will step forward.

I have been away and not sure if the ground has shifted or that SDP has changed.

Any views?

Agree with GD, pity though because SDP has come up with some good policies.

CSJ has to acknowledge the stigma associated with him, would be good for him to step back if he has SDP's and Singapore's interest at heart.

The achilles heel for SDP is that image problem that won't go away for as long as CSJ is there. They may likely improve from their previous score but will have problem securing that final 10% needed to win.

Thanks for the update. Hope AYG stay far away from TJS. Latter will be a liability.

Heard VW was asked to leave because the party leadership felt his gay activism doesn't really put the party in a favorable position.
