A friend of mine took a feeder bus service in Tampines and noticed a sharp angled piece of aluminium that was protruding from the floor between seats near the driver. Seeing the potential harm of a life threatening cut to passengers' feet, he informed the PRC female driver.

What he wanted was to have the driver warn passengers about the danger and reporting it when the bus returns to the interchange. Instead of acknowledging him, the PRC scolded him for not appreciating the fact that she was driving the bus and can't be expected to do more!

I had always said this. In no time the PRC will think they own this country.:oIo:

What u mean, in no time ??

They are already having this mindset that the gahment treat them better than the citizens !!

What we need is an incident splashed on newspaper headline. PRC New Citizen slapped Singapore born Citizen and calling him "Mei Chu Si Sinkie!"

Will it happen??????????:(:(:(

Why always friend of friend and not from you .
Complain to LTA, bus company or PTC .
Why you complain to a slave instead of the slave runners .
Are you bullying the slave ?

This i have to agree is a wrong policy. PRC women should only work in Geylang and coffee shops.

even before they landed at changi airport already in their mind: conquer singapore!:D
communist mentality mah: 为祖国增光!;)

Adopt the US bus driving system is the best. Yes, passenger can complain to driver about things like other passengers drinking (alcohol), carrying dangerous objects etc. The bus driver has to stop and verify. Once verified, the offending passenger must leave the bus (no refund). The bus driver doesn't need to do anything else. He simply verifies and stops. If the offending passenger doesn't alight, the bus doesn't move, that's all. Now then you see whether the other passengers want to be stompers or vigilantes.

China xiao jie already marginalized the Thaigals n Malaysia mei mei in Geylang.

PRC drivers are the best.

Commuters even miss them when they go on leave. This is from the National Day speech and Ms Zhao Xiaodong was singled out for her talent.

We need more PRC to join us as bus drivers to help make SBS a successful company and to make buses more reliable

TS must be a trouble maker

And he gave me an example of Ms Zhao Xiaodong who comes from Dalian and she's the bus captain of Service 109 from Serangoon Interchange to Changi Village going through Pasir Ris and she is well liked by her passengers, especially the Pasir Ris residents. So at one point she had to go away for a week, several of the commuters wrote to SBS.

They said: 'What's happened to our bus driver? She is polite, she's caring, she's considerate to pregnant women and the elderly. Have you transferred her to another route or maybe she's left SBS? Whatever it is, please bring her back to Service 109', which I think is where she still is.

So I think at the personal level if you can get on and the relationships can be established, that's a tremendous help. Singaporeans, too, should do their part to understand and integrate the new arrivals.

And you are a well known in house bullshitting piece of shit!:oIo::D:D:D

How's that PRC whore of yours?:p:p:p:p

TS story neither here nor there

My reply comes with link with driver's name and how the passengers missed her

You have very low IQ, just like to call people whore here whore there when you lose an argument

Or maybe you are just juvenile - keep living with your parents and collect allowance from them

Because you wont be able to get a job anywhere

Bus drivers in the west are more courteous and considerate towards the elderly and handicap. Not sure if it is their education. Or, being better paid and living in a less stressful society, the bus drivers in the west offer much better service than those found here and in M'sia.

They don't get irritated that easily. They can stop their bus along the main road, buy some donuts and coffee and then drive off. In the course of this, no passengers kpkb at them. They give way to pedestrains and other m/vehicles even when they have the right of way etc. Say what you like, they are a much more cultured society than S'pore. Best of all, their political leaders don't demand millionaire salaries.

Yes agree, steady is the word. They speak steadily and react to situation steadily. Can means can, cannot means cannot. They don't seem to get angry and they don't look like going to get bullied. The passenger culture is different too. I don't think any passenger takes a pic and stomp or blog about minor annoyance. If they're bothered and confident enough, they'd help the driver kick that idiot off the bus and get on with the journey. If not, wait and see and live with it as part of life.

In this case the bus driver was having a crap day and handled the situation badly. Lowly paid drivers shouldn't be responsible for crowd control and removing irate passengers or drunkards from the bus. Their job is primarily to drive? If you want security on buses then fares will increase.

Hey, I remember when the bus I was taking stopped at a coffee shop so that the driver could tahpow a meal :D

However that was in the 80's, I don't think bus drivers would do that now:rolleyes:

SBS and other bus companies should use locals for admin and other staff and use that to leverage ratio and have PRC drive all the 3,500 buses here.

PRC talent will lead to better service and lower costs

Bro, you mentioned coffeeshop. I think you were referring to S'pore. I was referring to an American city.

Yes I know, just wanted to point out that Spore was at one point very much like the the rest of the world. Nowadays it's very different, we are "world class"
