How come we dun have third party liability insurance which pays millions?

Need not be ignorant no more. 3rd party insurance is mandatory here for vehicles, maybe not to extent of "millons" elsewhere

If you take the first morning bus to the airport daily. You will see that many of our old people takes the same ride as they are working. Some looks as old as 80 years old. A very sad sight.

First, for older workers, we are trying hard to help them to work longer. Many want to work beyond 62, like this group of workers at the Xin Wang Café. And we encourage workers to work longer. So we have the Retirement and Reemployment Act that has come into effect. Beyond 62, employers have to offer reemployment to the workers for at least another three years to 65, and as DPM Teo said on Sunday, MOM surveys show that 98% of workers who reach the age of 62, get an offer to continue working and many of them do carry on working beyond 62.

I had the same distinct impression. It is as if the son is so thoughtless and heartless for drinking his coffee (i.e. relaxing one corner) while his mother with her trolley laden with cardboxes (i.e. working) is being run over by the bus. Really no standard.

recycling is a no "capital" business. put in the labour and be rewarded at end of the day. some old folks really dun need the $$ but do it anyway to pass time.

Then they should be passing time with activities such as karaoke and taichi, which the pioneer PAP grassroots dogs entertain themselves with, week after week.
