Sad departure of a 30yo female rider in traffic accident .... RIP

While they were still living in Singapore, they each have full access to a car for their own use. Now that they are no longer living here, I've sold off all except one for my use. I don't hoard money. I spend it when I see it makes life more comfortable. It's just a tool. And you can't bring it with you.
Your children are clever to buy elsewhere. Everyone needs one car. Hence sinkie should be entitled to one without coe. Coe is a scheme to make more money for govt to spend. Is it prudent? No checks & balance. So, we can quickly retire elsewhere too.

It’s all about business in Sg.

There are still many young people, and many females going for riding license and boasted in their tik tok.

All are very clueless and naive people, and doesn't know they will be eventually killed one day by lta aka pap.
Or probably being able to look cool is more important than their lifes.

Hence, I'm not thinking this is a sad case becos it was 自己找来的
Many sinkees bought motorbikes cos they cannot afford a car in SG. Really no choice.

Remember the July 2023 fatal crash involving a lorry and the car of a NUS law professor, Tan Yock Lin? The culprit Natarajan Mohanraj was jailed in August 2025 for causing the professor's death, but he was caught driving w/o a licence on a few occasions after his release.

papayas say the island need to import drivers like him so that economy wont die and create jobs for sinkies ... that's why he need to continue after release so that island economy dont collapse .... bo bian one.

A note to all fathers.

Please disallow your daughters to ride a motorcycle in Singapore. The driving culture has changed tremendously from 20 years ago. Now, it is dangerous. More vehicles are on the road. And vehicles move closer together giving little time for response.
I quit motorcycles because of it, what more a female whose spatial awareness, and response and decisive actions is much lower than mine?

Fathers, save yourselves from the heartache of losing your daughters. It is just a matter of time they will get into an accident.
But sai kling is OK? :o-o:

SINGAPORE – A 30-year-old motorcyclist died after a collision with an SBS Transit bus on the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) on Oct 9.

The police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force said they were alerted to the accident on the PIE towards Changi before the Bedok Reservoir Road exit at about 5pm that day.

They said the female motorcyclist was taken unconscious to Changi General Hospital, where she subsequently died.

In response to a media query, SBS Transit spokeswoman Grace Wu said CCTV footage from the off-service bus, which was in the third lane, showed the motorcyclist, who was between two vehicles in the adjacent lanes on the right, falling.

“The impact caused her to be thrown into lane three, where our bus captain swerved and applied the emergency brakes in an effort to avoid her, but sadly could not,” said Mrs Wu.

She added that SBS Transit has provided the CCTV footage to the police to aid in investigations.

“We are deeply saddened by the passing of the motorcyclist and would like to extend our sincere condolences to her family during this very difficult time,” she said.

In dashcam footage from a passing car, posted on Facebook page SGRV, a van and an SBS Transit bus are seen making a sudden stop on the expressway.

As the car with the dashcam passes the scene, an orange scooter is seen on its side in the third lane, in front of the bus.

A person believed to be the bus driver and another motorist are later seen crouching and checking under the front of the bus.

Police investigations are ongoing.
Bedok Reservior Road…very 邪门

The problem with many bikers is that they love to create a lane for themselves in between lanes for bigger vehicles, and shift either left or right w/o signalling. Accidents often happen when drivers do not notice these riders, who appear on their blind spots.
