Age 65

Died of a Heart Attack.......

He had given us many laughters through his movies and songs, especially in late 70s and early 80s. Rest In Peace, Ricky and May God Bless Your Soul.

He had given us many laughters through his movies and songs,

Should be "He has given us much laughter......"

"Laughter" is a non countable noun. You do not add an "s" to make it plural.

Thanks for correcting my grammar. Much appreciated.

Don't listen to that Leongsam bullshit. There's nothing countable or uncountable about laughs and laughters. Ask him, are laughs are countable?

I get your point : the word "laughter" is like the word "happiness" which is considered as something that is uncountable but what about Sin City people that commonly use "a lot of people" ? The word "lot" can technically be interpreted as "group" as in "a group of people". Will you still think "many" (officially recognised) should be used instead ?

Re: Mr Dic

Laughs are quantitative while laughter is qualitative :)
