How to prepare for parent’s death soon?

General

I don’t have anybody to ask so here goes. My mum has been battling cancer for the last 2 years, and i just heard from the doctor to be prepared, she could only have a few weeks to maybe a couple of months left judging by her condition and aggression of the cancer.

Just wanted to know, as the only child in a single parent household, what do i need to do? Unfortunately travelling with her is out of the question as she is too weak to do so now. If it helps, i’m fully adult and currently not working, but i have no financial worries for now.

Edit: thank you everyone for the replies so far! I see some people saying to spend more time with her. I am currently already spending pretty much the whole day every day with her in the hospital. Am thinking more of any admin/legal stuff that i need to arrange, or other matters that i should keep in mind. Much appreciated!
