What to do with a crazy neighbour?
GeneralI've been living in this condo with my parents for many years with the same neighbours directly beside me since. She's an old lady in her 60s but her husband moved out not too long ago so she's living alone.
Since a few months ago, she's been accusing her upstairs and downstairs neighbours on our community page that they're making too much noise. Metal banging, dogs barking and furniture dragging. However neither me nor my family have heard anything at all.
She recently also started accusing them of monitoring her every movement, like as if there's a hidden camera in her room. Like metal scraping sounds and dog barking sounds only happen the moment she steps in her bathroom or when she wakes up.
She has called the police more than 3 times. One time she called them because she smelled gasoline in her flat. The police and SCDF came promptly but she wasn't at home.. She was at City Hall.. LOL. I made conversation with them and they're aware that she's been making complaints for months about her neighbours. She made them wait for about 30 mins.. and turns out there's no smell of carbon monoxide. What a waste of public resources.
I'm writing this post today because I'm fed up with the complaints and screaming she's doing. She started screaming in her flat at about 8:30PM. It was loud af. She started threatening her downstairs neighbour and went down, banging at their door to come out and called them cowards. She has called the police and is waiting for them to come (idk if they will). She wants them to check their walls for any hidden devices that are tracking her movement...... She also mentioned that she will die and her spirit will haunt them.
It's currently 9:30PM and she's still at their door with our condo security, waiting for the police to come while still screaming at their door. Is there anything I can do? I've recorded all her shouting and screaming and it's really concerning. I think she's mentally unwell. Sometimes when I see her at the corridor she will try to make conversation with me but I just run to my door.
(Edit: gasoline, not carbon monoxide)
