The largest companies are fully or partly owned by the Govt and managed by people appointed by the Govt. You should now understand what the noise is about.

The biggest employers are still small and medium companies. If you add the MNCs, they dwarf whatever GLCs out there.

That what we call mixing with the right minded people. They will also say that don't go the way of the fools , or else you will get suck into it.

But frankly speaking, if you are highly intelligent, will you be so stupid as to get stuck with them ?

Govt don't run companies, citizens do. Why not blame yourself, why blame others. Do restructuring in your company la.

but a huge conflict of interest arises, when the citizen that runs the company sleeps with the government that rules the country.

Of course don't see because productivity will take another hit in the next 2 quarters. It will reflect bad on them ! If anything which is positive, they will grab headline on it, plus a few pages in ST to boost their own ego.

Basic corporate survival skill !

How can the biggest employers be SMEs? They could be 92% of companies but their total employees numbers are much lower in %, about 50%. Most MNCs are also small, one, two hundred staff operation. The largest single employer is in fact the civil service.
