Ong Ye Kung, Chee Hong Tat ask Facebook user to withdraw Su Haijin allegations or face legal action

Sng was cosplaying as Su Haijin and reiterated many times him don't believe they don't know Su. He was implying they could be corrupted but he never used the word. A bit gray, they need strong evidence to sue. I don't know whether an online persona can be sued. Rich Sng is not a real name.
If the judiciary were not independent of the legislature, would the two ministers risk threatening a lawsuit based on such weak evidence?

Posting picture of ministers, with wealthy people, on facebook is considered illegal? Then what is the purpose of ministers, posing, wanting to take pictures and showing off in the first place?

In SG, it seems anything may be turned from
illegal to legal by the powers that be.

Questions :

1. If they claim not to know Su Haijin personally, what steps did they or their offices take to vet the guest list before attending these private dinners, especially given their positions as ministers?

2. How do they explain Su Haijin “happening to be there” at multiple, invitation-only gatherings-do they consider this a coincidence, and what does this suggest about the exclusivity or nature of these events?

3.they state that ministers meet a diverse range of people as part of their duties. How do they differentiate between large public events and small, private dinners in terms of accountability and transparency?

4. Why were the details of the dinners, including the identities of the hosts and other guests, not disclosed in your statements, given public interest and the potential for reputational risk?

5. Do they believe that simply denying personal knowledge of Su Haijin is sufficient to address public concerns about association and judgment, especially after his conviction for money laundering?

6. How do they ensure that participation in private social gatherings does not inadvertently confer legitimacy or access to individuals later found to be involved in criminal activity?

7. Given the repeated presence of Su Haijin at such events, what will they do differently in the future to prevent similar situations and uphold the high standards of integrity you referenced in their statements?
You corner people until like that. I know what you're up to lah.

You want him to swear to die a violent death, right?

PAP MIW ministers are supposedly very straight and no nonsense calibre of elites. However when they are caught in a sticky situation they will always sue instead of giving or providing explanations and answers to the sticky situations.

They can and never have wrong doings.

Hope Rich Sng can crowd fund and Sinkies do not like to see common people being sued by politicians & crowd fund for him to stand against Goliath like IK.
If any politician can sue him, they can sue any citizen in the future.

This is the result of having no checks and balances which the 65% guaranteed for a further 5 years. Let us not be naïve; there is no honest govt in this world. Basically, SM and PM have only told their ministers to take this obscene amount of money as their inflated pay, so they do not need to steal public funds.

No judge in SG will dare to rule against the PAP. LKY made sure of that after making an example of Michael Khoo, who was demoted after not burying JB Jeyaretnam in court.

I will accept what they say as true if they swear to die a violent death.

This is the "litmus test" of credibility popularized by my venerable ex-mentor.
Your venerable ex mentor litmus test is swear violent death for herself. She's nobody so it's acceptable.

For ministers who are well paid in the millions, the bar should be set higher.

They must be swearing parents, children grandchildren and wife and himself to die violent deaths to prove their worth.

If the gahmen was less arrogant and less high handed, the general public can be more understanding and forgiving in small misgivings.

However, the cocky $m ministers have themselves to blame and put themselves in righteous positions and condemning everyone else but themselves.

Good example is that litigation is not the way to address this matter and also in the Ridout saga but this is the way they operate and is a vicious cycle.

That's the problem with these ministerial jokers. They all think they are Lee Kuan Yew. But in actual fact, they are no where near, even to old man's fart.

The PAP needs to be more humble, less arrogant and remember that they are supposed to serve the people - not expect to be served.
