PMET forced to cab driving to make a living

I have come across many employees who are totally committed to their firm and job that they do not plan for a back-up and don't do a sideline.

I have also come across those who can't be bothered with goals of their firm and spend more time for next job or back-up.

In this country, people must learn to be in between.

I belong to this age group and held lower position than this senior manager in MNC. Find it hard to believe a 'senior manager' did not have any career backup plans. The FT policy was not implemented yesterday. He is lucky that he need not compete with FTs to drive taxis.

these guys generally get screwed..... they dont realise especially in a big company ...that they are just digits. They are replaced when

someone cheaper comes along irrespective of what they have sacrificed or contributed. Sad ...but hey its sinkiepoor where cost

management = cost cutting= screwing the local boys.

yes, this one i heard a lot from those who graduated from nus...

I remember how this govt trumpeted the need for chemical engineers, made NUS start a programme and by the second batch, this area disappeared.

This guy is the type of candidate for the Wee Shu Min "talk to my elite uncaring hand" kind of response.
