I had high regards for Lily and Denise because I thought these two, unlike the other PAP MPs who are more interested in fighting for their high salaries, spoke up for the poor and sick. I think I maybe wrong abt Lily and Denise as no PAP speaks up for Singaporeans now

Don't hold your breath. There's just too much at stake.

TCB is a lousy example. He did not leave the PAP to join the opposition. He left politics to take part in the PE, a non-political office. Despite some misgivings about government policy direction in recent years, he's still at heart a PAP man.

Eventhough tcb is a pap man. At least he has the interest of the people. He was also appointed by wooden n not old fart or pinky. For his outspoken views he has earned the hatred of old fart n pinky. Old fart cannot tolerate dissent. Look at wat old fart did to OTC? Look at Tan Soo Khoon. When he was parleementary speaker. I also c him no up. Just as another pap dog. But when he went on the back bench and argued against pap policy n he did it damn well. Using words like 7 wonders of singapore n break legs n give crutches etc. Alot of oppo supporters supported him. He did well in arguing against the increase of gst. Wat showee on the hypocrisy of wooden was he says pap mps argue against pap policies better than oppos. N the next thing these pap mps got kicked out n replaced with more yes men. Pap is now run by the oligarchs. They only way is to vote against pap cos vote for good pap mp still will get fucked n pap mp have to b yes man. If become a no man. Will get thrown out. As we have seen with the good pap mps.

People speak through their actions as well. I have no idea about their day to day work, maybe you should find out. It is possible they think that merely speaking will not change anything and they prefer to work another way.

i could easily find you a never ending source of people who would "speak out" if you pay them well enough.. and white scums m.p are paid very well in their multimillion dollar part time job and by being "connected".

World isn't all black and white. Just like there are rotten eggs and bad apples in the Opposition camp, there are also rose amongst the thorns in the PAP camp.

The end goal here is to make Singapore a better place for Singaporeans. Some people try to do it from within the PAP, others try to do it from outside. We should applaud all such people though, and not apply guilt by association.
