PAP Cronyism 1, SG Justice 0

TracyTan866: Anyone with police experience or have friends in the SPF will tell you the room ceiling is the limit for the junior officers when and where feedback is concerned. When it is political in nature, it won't be the room ceiling. It does not exist.

If the Commanders and respective directors from PHQ are all merely waiting to score political points from their masters, can their juniors not toe the line? Everything is top-down in a uniformed group. If you try to be different, life's going to be miserable. Whatever good or bad is already deeply entrenched.

It's SPF's loss if the management does not treasure feedbacks because they are given by Junior officers. Sometimes the most relevant and important feedbacks are from the ground officers because they are intimately involved with the people

Ground officers, whatever his/her rank is merely an actor. There will be many chaps giving directions and instructions. When it ends well, these chaps will await their rewards as if they had just gotten rid of the cancer disease. If it screws up, only the ground officer will be left standing. All the rest will disappear. Ask your mata friends if you know any and you will know what I mean. Responsibilities always a burden, credit always a joy to enjoy.

That shdnt be the case...If it is so in SPF, it shows that the organisation is on the wrong track

The ground officer in-charge was confused as he received conflicting 'guidance' from various departments interested in the case.

shdnt the Ground officer in charge receive only orders from only one source? why shd conflicting "guidance" be channelled to him? such conflicting "guidance" shd be deliberated and resolved at the higher level

Well, that's how the world is. Justice belongs to the rich and powerful, mostly. Or to put it cynically, there is no justice in the world.

That is not true. The 1st world will not agree with what you said.

I dont think such a ruling or miscarriage of Justice wld be accepted in USA or Europe .

Looks like you have resigned to such life and injustices in SG.

But I am unlike you. I still believe that ultimately justice will prevail, even in Singapore.

Dont you?

The case didn't happen in those places, so the point is moot.

Even the judiciary is resigned to accept such rulings.

Justice will prevail, for the rich and powerful of course.
