If you're referring to the CPF Building case, i.i.r.c., they did eventually remove her (and the others) by force in a police van on a holding charge for disrupting public order, then released from station later without any criminal charge. However, Siok Chin and her bro were sued later for defamation later and disqualified from standing as candidates. (Made no difference to CSJ as he was already bankrupted and disqualified earlier.)

TracyTan866: Anyone with police experience or have friends in the SPF will tell you the room ceiling is the limit for the junior officers when and where feedback is concerned. When it is political in nature, it won't be the room ceiling. It does not exist.

If the Commanders and respective directors from PHQ are all merely waiting to score political points from their masters, can their juniors not toe the line? Everything is top-down in a uniformed group. If you try to be different, life's going to be miserable. Whatever good or bad is already deeply entrenched.

Ground officers, whatever his/her rank is merely an actor. There will be many chaps giving directions and instructions. When it ends well, these chaps will await their rewards as if they had just gotten rid of the cancer disease. If it screws up, only the ground officer will be left standing. All the rest will disappear. Ask your mata friends if you know any and you will know what I mean. Responsibilities always a burden, credit always a joy to enjoy.

I think the rider was a retiree and the female his maid, if we're talking about the same case. That case was a real stinker, she got clean away with it. The retiree became crippled in one leg. There was an interview on him done a couple of years back. He wasn't vengeful, but he did end the interview by saying no one can escape God's justice.
