HE HAD thrown a single punch but the blow sent retiree Ng Yam Chok crashing to the pavement, fracturing his skull last August.

The 78-year-old died in hospital four days later and his attacker, Yong Hong Peng, 40, was charged with murder. This was later reduced to causing grievous hurt.

The odd-job worker pleaded guilty to this on Monday and was convicted on Tuesday, he was jailed 2 1/2 years.

In an interview with The Straits Times before he was sentenced, he said that he was shocked when he read in the newspapers that Mr Ng had died.

He said in a mixture of English and Hokkien: 'It was just one punch. I hit him out of anger because my girlfriend told me that he had assaulted her. I was never my intention to kill him.'

The incident happened in Lorong 14 Geylang at about noon on Aug 12. Yong had gone there with his girlfriend. The 25-year-old Chinese national was studying accountancy at a private school.

At Geylang, she offered to have sex with Mr Ng for $70. An argument ensued. Yong then appeared and punched the older man in the face. He and his girlfriend then fled.

A resident, who witnessed the attack, provided police with a description of Yong and he was arrested on Aug 25 and charged with murder - a capital crime.

End Result = 1 Singaporean went to Jail 2.5 years, 1 Singaporean Ah Pek dead NRIC returned to PAP Govt. 1 FT Prostitute Returned to PRC RICHER!

She managed to learn better than most Singaporeans that the PAP Govt is so Corrupt and INCOMPETENT that they will issue her with a legitimate student visa aka Singpass for her to come here and whore out her cunt for money. She took advantage of that!

In short she took better advantage of PAP Govt than us Singaporean suckers.

I can tell you even more worst things such as a lot of prostitute standing on Geylang streets actually had been released from prison after overstaying, they were given a 21 days white card (why have to be WHITE?) to earn her own air ticket back home. That is part of the deportation process standard for PAP Govt these days.

Because whores learned that they should send back all their monies as frequently as possible in order not to be caught with the money in hand. They learn how to tell PAP Govt that they have no money to buy their return ticket for deportation. PAP Govt can not afford to fund them any more since there are endless amount of them in many past years. PRC Govt will not pay either, they will only accept their deported citizens on their own soil and not in the embassy here. So PAP Govt will give them a WHITE (PAP) card to stand at Geylang for 21 days or so to earn a ticket back. These WHITE (PAP) card whores are SUPERSAFE they will not be arrested, if arrested will be immediately released, after ceasing their money for the ticket, once found with enough money, they will be sent back.
