You must not have been to one of the ramen restaurants in Singapore.

Look at the prices on those menus first before feigning surprise.

it is not expensive because ramen in Japan is prepared by Japanese.
Ramen in Singapore is prepared by Chinese PRC.
if you want it cheap, please drink more recycled oil

500+ yen already very cheap in Japan. Normally good ones in Sapporo are 800 and above

Not specifying which one, but one of the authentic Japanese ramen restaurants here produces its own noodles in its own factory located here. Al dente quality and gutter oil free, guaranteed. The Japanese lady manager had told me personally.

Hint: keyword is authentic, so that automatically disqualifies Ajisen and Ramenplay (George Quek's wannabe crap). ;)

in singapore, the best ramen is by Waraku, japanese group.
not george quek

That's cheap.
Compare to sinkieland I go hawker center one bowl prawn noodles already $12

It's much cheaper now then 15 yrs ago when I first visit Japan. Thanks to strong Sing dollars and PAP!

Have u tried eating Yong Tau Foo at sinkie shopping centres that costs $6 for a few pathetic pieces of ingredients?

When in Bangkok go try some seriously good ramen same same original Hokkaido style and flavor.

Anyway this satisfies me everytime
